At PBI, Safety Always Comes First

PBI is committed to a culture that promotes an injury-free workplace. Everything we do is geared toward ensuring the safest possible environment for our employees, subcontractors, clients, and everyone else who enters the construction site. The PBI team is our family, and we believe that every worker must go home safe from every job, every day.

We are dedicated to elevating the standards for safety in the construction industry using a variety of methods. Through example and training, we provide our employees and subcontractors with the tools, knowledge, and resources they need to increase safety, reduce risk, and improve loss control on every project we manage.

The real-world results illustrate the impact of our efforts. In every year since 1998, we have achieved EMR and TRIR rates that are considerably lower than the industry. Since 2001, our EMR rate has been at 0.70 or below, with TRIR rates at or below 0.75 in 2013 and 2014.

Year EMR TRIR LTIR
2017 0.55 0.0 0.0
2016 0.61 1.9 0.0
2015 0.61 1.2 0.0
2014 0.70 0.6 0.6
2013 0.68 0.75 0.0
